What is God like? Each of us has a unique perspective on God’s characteristics. These may be based on what we grew up with, or our individual experiences. Yet what does the Bible say about what God is really like?
Double Calls
Saying a person’s name twice, according to Hebrew culture, signified emphasis on the one being called. In the same way, God called the attention of three different people in the Bible because of three specific things that He is also calling us to do.

Have you ever wondered why the Bible was written, and what relevance it has on your life? Sometimes we try to understand why we even need to read it, or even shrug it off as irrelevant in our daily living. Yet there is more to God’s Word than meets the eye.
ONE
What does it mean to follow Jesus? It’s more than just attending church, singing songs, or taking part in church activities. How will we know what it means to be a disciple, make disciples, and be part of a Victory Group?
We are excited to start our new series entitled “ONE.” After this series, we’ll learn more about the discipleship process and actively participate in it. Discipleship is more than just a perfect Sunday attendance–it is actively following Jesus, being in fellowship with others, and fishing for people.
